Hello Everyone,

 

Our client is in need of a Java Developer for a long term project in
Salt Lake City.

 


The project and desired skill set is as follows:

 Java Programmer

Job Description
Duties include development and maintenance of various applications and
their respective processes.  The developer would make modifications
and/or develop applications based on previously defined specifications
at the direction of various team members and business specialists.  It
is expected that the programmer would follow previously defined /
implemented standards in development methodology, usable technologies,
and coding standards.


Experience / Skills
Experience with the IBM WebSphere application development tool RAD.
Experience with Java, SQL, JSP & HTML.
Development experience utilizing Model View Controller methodology.
Development experience within the Struts framework.
iText development experience a plus.
Understanding of java development best practices.
Ability to work as team member.


Duties
Develop / modify java applications at direction of staff that meet
design specifications and technical development standards.
Work with staff (technical team and business specialists) to insure
quality development and product.
Coordinate programming changes with staff.
Make recommendations at both the business process level and programming
level to insure optimum product.
Some after hours work may be necessary but not typical.
