TEKsystems is currently looking for a mid level Java developer for a 6 month contract with the likelyhood of going perm.
This position is with a large company in the Financial Industry located downtown in Salt Lake City, UT.

Summary
We are looking for an exceptional and motivated individual experienced in creating rich internet applications using Java and AJAX Technologies. The applicant should ideally have prior AJAX development experience and have solid Java/Javascript programming skills.

Responsibilities
This is a hands-on development position working in a diverse team of developers to develop user interfaces for highly visible .com web sites. The development environment is DOJO on top of a Java application server. The candidate should ideally have significant experience in DOJO, but any AJAX framework is equally valued so long as the candidate possesses the propensity and aptitude to learn DOJO quickly.



Qualifications

Experience with AJAX frameworks specifically DOJO.
Experience with programming language technologies such as XHTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS
Background in OOP & re-usable code
Demonstrated Java programming skills
Self-motivated, responsible, methodical, detail-oriented and self-directed
Ability to set priorities and solve problems efficiently
