Anyone remember the name of that cool "intermediate" repository Bryan talked about last night at the meeting? I knew I should have taken notes. I remember the name may have started with 'a' and had a 'u' in it. As I recall, to install it was no more than dropping a WAR into Tomcat.
Forgetfully yours and too enthralled to take notes,
Russ

It's Artifactory!
I have been told by someone to check out Nexus (from Sonotype) as being more cool still.

Hey Russ,
Sorry I didn't see this until now. Yes it is Artifactory. Personally, I really like Artifactory. Others have said that they like Nexus better, but I have installed Artifactory on probably 6 projects and never had a single problem with it. I probably have 3000+ Artifacts in my largest repo and it has never skipped a beat. Also the Artifactory forum is the fastest support forum I have ever used. They respond to questions usually within an hour. A lot of times it is a Maven question and not even Artifactory, but they answer them anyway.

Where I'm working we use Archiva, and it seems to work quite well, and is an Apache product as well.
